Jason –
Had this about a month. My work schedule and parental duties (sportsing chauffeur) prevented me from riding as often as I like, attending spin class, or going to the local velodrome. It delivers everything I would want. HR on the display. Power (watts) output. Super quiet – insanely quiet. I will be swapping out the stock pedals for speed play and plan to change the saddle – those are minor things that I prefer to customize. Also, it is great that the resistance is applied in set levels 1-16. No guessing if resistance is the same between different rides.
Dave –
Two things keep this from 5 stars (1) very hard to precisely control resistance and (2) no android support on headset. Otherwise a great product.
Gideon Schaller –
Heart rate monitoring does not reliably work. Only 1 out of 10 rides I could get it to work.
Level setting also not reliable, needs weekly sometimes daily calibration.

Hi Gideon,
Thanks for your comments. Have you tried replacing the 2 C batteries in the back of the console? I would suggest doing this as I believe it will help resolve those issues.
Best regards,
John
Samantha Greenberg –
Very smooth and quiet bike. I give it three stars because it’s very difficult to control the resistance and also I can adjust the front length because the yellow k on is in the way. It’s upsetting because I spent a lot of money.

Hi Samantha,
With regards to adjusting the resistance I suggest kind of grabbing the red lever in your hand and then rest some fingers on the black base around the red lever this will make it easier to make fine adjustments. Also, if the red lever is too stiff to move there is a way to loosen it.
With regards to moving the handlebars fore/aft, that yellow lever can be pulled straight down and that then allows you to spin it without out moving the threads, so this way the lever your make adjustments without the yellow lever hitting the post.

I can only make it to level 4 resistance and that is a hard spin—barely 40 rpms. I thought there was suppose to be 16 levels. Is my lever too tight? Is there a way to recalibrate it? Otherwise it’s a great bike. Just disappointed with the resistance.
j.kennedy –
Hi Kelly,
Yes there are 16 levels of resistance. Level 4 should be a very light resistance.
Can you email us at info@cascadehealthandfitness.com so we can help resolve this issue. Thanks.

Had the bike a year now and use it 3 days a week and figured it was time to review.
Pros: Magnetic resistance makes for a smooth ride
Cons:
– Handle bars need an extra notch or two to be able to raise for people with long legs and short arms
– if you are taking Peloton classes, there is no way to mount an iPad or iPhone. They should make an attachment for this bike specifically as anything on the market does not fit with the way the co sole sits in the middle.
– resistance adjuster. The resistance is a challenge to only move one level, it usually moves two levels at a time so taking Peloton classes can be a challenge.
Also I purchased a separate seat for this bike. As a woman with hips I wanted a wider saddle.

Bike feels solid, quiet and easy to adjust —-except for resistance. To move one notch at a time. Ind once I get to six
Or 7, I’m maxed ootnndomr doesn’t seem right. Hoping customer’ service sees this

Bike feels solid, quiet and the display metrics are great. On only complaint is the resistance is to hard to change. It’s almost Impossiible to move one notch at a time. And I can barely keep up at a six resistance , which feels off. Hoping customer service sees this and has some suggestions
